Book Does’t Hold My Interest

What do you do when the book just doesn’t keep your attention and you can’t finish it?

One you got from ER? You write a review explaining why you could not finish it.

>1 IPagen: I see that AnnieMod has already answered, but yes, it is permissible to not finish an ER book. Just describe it as DNF (Did Not Finish) in your ER review, and specify why. As long as you gave it a good faith effort, and have written a review detailing your response, you should be fine.

Of course, we hope that everyone enjoys their ER books, but realistically speaking, we know that this is not always the case.

If I win a book, I do finish as a courtesy to the author. Not sure it is better to not finish or give it a low star. If children are abused in the book, I will not finish even if it is one I have won. All books are not for eveyone.
