Name this book about blind man

Looking for a historical romance book where the the ML is either an earl/duke/count/etc and he is temporarily blinded due to an injury and his eyes has to stay bandage until he fully heals without knowing if he will be able to see afterwards.

He has an arranged marriage with some Noble's daughter whom he hasn't met yet. but because he is injured the noble's daughter doesn't want to go take care of a blind man so she sends someone in her place to pretend to be her. He is blind and hasn't met her yet so the spoiled noble's daughter thinks it will be fine if she just swaps back later right before his bandages are taken off.

I can't remember what status is the girl who gets sent. She is either an illegitimate daughter or some poor servant/maid who is very kind. She takes care of the temporarily blinded man while they both fall for each other. (she eventually has sex with the blind man but afterwards she unfortunately has to return and couldn't bring herself to tell him her real name and leaves because she thinks he will be disappointed with her low status etc)

When he opens his eyes, he meets the noble's daughter and at first thinks it's his beloved. However, he can quickly tell within a day or so that she is not the one who took care of him. He searchs for his beloved desperately and eventually finds her. Etc and they get married.

I'm looking for title/author. I might be remembering some details wrong but I know for a fact the ML was injured and had his eyes bandage and that a secret temporary replacement bride was sent during that period while he still thought she was the original one
