You can sort by entry date in your catalogue.

I don't know of a way to use the search box, but it is possible to restrict your library list by year or year-month.
You can find a link to it from your Charts & Graphs, Your Books Over Time section.
It doesn't play nice with other searches (i.e. if you type something in the search box and search again, then the entry date part goes away), but if you really want to you can add something like:
&entrydate=2022-11
to the end of the url manually.
