Child/teen fiction book.
Young girl is abducted/taken to another land in the middle of the night. She meets an older boy who helps her and tells her that her family have forgotten about her/her whole life back home has been erased. The only way for them to remember is for her to get back home. They fight to get back home together through the fictional land. When she gets home at the end of the book, memories of her brother come flooding back and it’s the boy who helped her in this land she was transported to. He tells her that he is her brother but didn’t want to tell her till she remembered.
Read roughly 15 years ago in England.
