YA Dystopian book

I vaguely remember elements of this book. I am desperate to find it again.
The main character is a girl I think, and goes to a school that is named after a tree, as all are in that society. The school is in a poor area/district and the girl is told that all she can be is a janitor or suchlike and all children/teens are allocated jobs based on tests/ability I think.
I’m sorry I can’t remember anything more specific about this book.

Certain elements remind me of The City of Ember.
I don't remember anything about a tree, though.
