Matthew 25

What are people's opinion of the Matthew 25 network? I am just reading about its role in electing Obama...and wondering what others think. Are these folks progressive Christians? What do you know?

I hadn't heard about this, so I did a google search. There's an informative article from June 11 on Crooks and Liars dot com by Steve Benen about it. He says that the network is "a new outreach project targeting evangelicals" launched by the Obama campaign. It sounds to me like a political attempt to connect with Christian groups of all stamps, rather than trying to grab endorsements from individual religious leaders. It's broad-based in nature, but I think it's too soon to tell how progressive it is.
