OK...I'm 3/4 way through with Blood Noir and i've been hooked since the first paragraph. Anita is on a big adventure that wasn't suppose to be, new characters have been introduced that belong to a different master in Las Vegas, Marmee Noir takes control of Anita's ardeur and all hell breaks loose!
Anyone else read this yet?

I don't know if read it is the correct term. I got it and devoured it. I liked it better than some of the more recent titles. There weren't so many characters to keep track of with Anita on a road trip. But I did miss Jean Claude. ;) Hamilton is still on my "buy it as soon as it comes out in hardcover" list.

I miss all the old boyfriends but really enjoyed the storyline and Wicked Truth too. I will be looking forward to her new Meredith even more.

Does this series really get better? I read the first one or two books a number of years ago and just didn't connect to them. They felt .... I don't know, cliche? Or maybe just not believable (not that vampire books need to be believable, lol), but I guess I didn't feel like the individual characters were believable. I own like 6 or 7 of them, I just stopped reading when I didn't feel engaged. I'm just curious if you guys think each book gets better and if it's worth continuing. Thanks! ;)

Question! I purchased two of her books previously only to find out that it's a series of like 17 books or so! So... I have two of the books that are more towards the end of the series, Bullet and Flirt. Do these need to be read in order?
