skip confirmation

Using Firefox on OS X, my cuecat scans and the search matches one book. But "Skip Confirmation" doesn't work, I still have to click the link to add the book.

Is it working for you?

No, but it doesn't work if you type in the ISBN either (not a CueCat bug). Known bug but we haven't gotten much response from Tim et al on it (too busy on other things, I guess). Frust. It broke quite a while back.

I'm having the same issue. I scanned one book at work (in IE6) with the unmodded CueCat and it was added without confirmation. I declawed the cat and tried adding books at home (in IE7 and Firefox) and now I can't skip confirmation. I don't know if the change is because it's declawed or because of the IE version.

Any update on this? It still requires me to click on each link, sortof defeating the purpose of quick entry.

Nope. Huh...I don't think it's been bugged in the new system. I'm going to go do that...

Bugged here. Anybody still have an unmodified CueCat to test this? As I say there, I _think_ that the function still works for that, but it stopped working for neutered Cats and typed-in ISBNs when Add Books got Ajaxed.

Mine is unmodified and it works just fine.

Thanks, I put it in the bug report (which is deferred - Tim says Add Books gets the next redo after Talk, which is currently in progress).

Ping. Emailed Tim tonight. This is still broken. Are there plans to fix it?

For purposes of completeness, I'm using a declawed cuecat. The hardware geek of the house is offering to reclaw the cuecat, but I'd rather see if there's any plan to fix this before giving permission.

Note that my bug report was made two years ago. Admittedly, there's supposed to be an Add Book redo in progress now, so maaaaybe it will actually happen - actually, thanks, I'll go bump my bug report just to remind Tim of its existence now that the Add Books redo is in train.
