Food Named for People and Places

I wanted to alert fellow foodies to a charming little book that I just received as a gift. It is "Chicken a la King & the Buffalo Wing: Food Names and the People and Places That Inspired Them." The information will please your friends--up to a point, of course, after which you will become a bore. But for anyone like me who loves words as much as food, it is a delight.

I did find it enjoyable as well since I love the back stories to food names.
