Holy Smoke! You must have one of the most diverse reading lists I've ever seen!

It looks like you're on a mission, because these are really high-octane books. Seems like you don't do much random browsing... May I ask how you compile your to-be-read list?

Oh, I'm definitely on a quest to conquer all of literature; I just wish I had been more diligent in my past reading habits! I can't say I have any single resource I turn to to direct my reading. I listen to a lot of audiobooks so often I go with whatever is available. Otherwise, I usually pick through all those 100 best lists or nab something from the various "classics" imprints and hope for the best.

Genre fiction does poke its nose into my reading from time to time, but I really look to movies for that type of entertainment. In defense of browsing: my selections do appear less random than they feel when I'm making them. I'm sure next years will seem less methodical now that I have more of my bases covered.
