The last movie I saw was Mind the Gap from a friends Netflix. I had no expectations because I knew nothing about it. It ended up being really good. Recommended!

Will be seeing a few movies later this week. Thursday seeing The Changeling. I'm not usually a fan of Angelina's films, but this one looks interesting.

And of course this weekend I'll be among the masses of gawky pre-teen girls lining up to see Twilight. For a 29 year old, I am WAY excited about this movie!

Is The Changeling based on a book? I recently got a book called that out of the library.

This past weekend I saw Edward Norton's version of The Hulk. For as big a fan I am of superheros, I think I just do not like the hulk. I didn't really like either of the recent hulk movies.

Last one I saw was Run, Fat Boy, Run, which was pretty good actually in a silly kind of way!

Love Actually...but don't tell anyone because it is probably classified as a "chick flick." Very cute and heart touching stories though.

Ooooh is that the one with the PM and it's Christmas and all that? I remember weeping my way through that in the cinema, furious at being manipulated into doing so, one New Year's Day with a hangover!"

That's the one. A great movie that I highly recommend.

I don't think the Changeling is based off a book, but I'm not sure. I do know that it is based off a true story. I also read a book called The Stolen Child that reminded me of it. It actually turned out to be a really good movie. A bit long and a bit graphic at times, but worth seeing.

Also of course saw Twilight on Sunday. Umm....what to say. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great. It was worth seeing if you like the books a lot (which I do). Many parts were just terribly cheesy. I know the book has really cheesy parts as well, but something about movie cheese is different from book cheese! If nothing else, staring at Edward for an hour and a half is worth $8.

Annie, I haven't seen the Twilight movie yet, but I'm sure I will within the next couple weeks. The books are fun, but I'm not expecting much from the movie. Good to know that it's good enough!

This weekend I watched Get Smart. That was the second time I've seen it (the first was after a marathon when the movie was in theaters). It was just as funny the second time.

Husband and I watched The Lion King today. He has a stomach virus, so we were trying to pass the time while he couldn't sleep.

Annie, I did see the Twilight movie. It wasn't as bad as I expected! Yes cheesy parts, and I thought Bella came across as very breathy and stuttering, but not a bad representation of the books.

Most recently, I watched Batman Begins for about the tenth time. Before that was 28 Days Later, which was interesting. I'd like to see the sequel, which is supposed to explain more of the technicalities glossed over in the first movie.

I watched Man in the Iron Mask while working on a dress tonight. Since I have the movie memorized, I put the commentary on just to change things up a bit. The only thing I have against the movie is the wide variety of accents. Couldn't they have all agreed on one? But no one asked me and it is a fantastic movie anyway.

A couple days ago I went to see the new Percy Jackson movie in the theater. I really enjoyed it! Not an outstanding book-to-movie, but a good, fun movie for sure.

I recently saw Shutter Island, which I loved -- so well done! Kept husband and me thinking and swapping theories for a couple of hours after.

And I saw Sherlock Holmes in theaters and loved it. I've since bought it and watched it several more times as well as read all the Holmes novels and short stories. I had never read any Holmes before but I quickly became an addict.

I've heard really awesome things about Inception. Anyone here seen it? I'll probably wait for it to be in RedBox, but I'm waiting impatiently!
