Statistics and connections?

I'm a bit rusty with Local - I haven't been adding to it or using it in a while. What is the "statistics" link supposed to show? I just get a blank page, with the search box and map and the right.
Also, am I remembering right that "Your Connections" in Local only shows the favorites & events for people who are your "friends," and not the rest of your connections (interesting libraries, watch list, top 50 similar libraries) -- in other words that "Connections" means something different in Local than on the rest of the site?

1. The page is blank because I never moved stuff over to it. To-do list.
2. Yeah. It's tough. Do you want to know the events people are going to whom you haven't chosen?

2: No preference. I was just trying to remember what it meant. Maybe a different term should be used, though, since Connections has a specific and broader meaning on the rest of the site? I think I was looking at "your shared favorites," and expected to see shared favorites among similar libraries, but saw nothing. I don't use friends or interesting libraries now, anyway, so it doesn't matter much.
