The goal is 100 new books, but I'll also be tracking my rereads as well

1. Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire by Amanda Foreman
2. Pizza, Grill it, Bake It, Love It

4. Wodehouse on Crime
5. The Matters of Mansfield

What did you think of The Matters at Mansfield? I read it last year, and really liked it. The previous book in the series had been a bit of a letdown for me, so I felt like this book got the series back on track.

I enjoyed a good deal. I didn't like the previous book, which was the first in the series I had read, but I liked this one enough to check out the previous books in the series. I have Pride & Prescience next to read after I finish Death by water

Pride and Prescience is good, as is the second one, so you have good things ahead of you!

6. Death by Water - first time reading but have heard the audio
7. The Good Thief's Guide to Amsterdam

Jan. 17, 2009, 9:37pm

I just finished Death by Water earlier this month. I enjoyed it more than the previous title in the series, Queen of the Flowers.

The Good Thief's Guide to Amsterdam sounds good - would you recommend it? Have you read The Good Thief's Guide to Paris?

I liked the Good Thief's Guide to Amsterdam. The plot was interesting & it set the characters up well.

I just finished the Good Thief's Guide to Paris last night. It was very enjoyable I really liked the amount of possible double crossing going on in it.

9. North by Northanger
10. The Good Thief's Guide to Paris

I read 3 of the Carrie Bebris novels and really enjoyed them. What did you think of them?

Jan. 25, 2009, 9:48am

I enjoyed most of them. I wasn't really captivated by Suspense & Sensibility but found the rest very entertaining. I think I liked Matters at Mansfield the best

12. The Egg and I
13. Royal Affairs (reread)

Feb. 3, 2009, 8:03pm

I think I'll count the rereads seperately. I've just gone a Stephanie Plum jag and reread all 14 books in the series, plus 3 of the extra novellas and I'm listening to the latest one.

So that makes 18 rereads and only 12 new reads so far.

Counting to continue from this point.
