Hello Hampshire!

Hello fellow Hogs! I've spent a bit of time beefing up 'Local' venues and events for Hampshire recently. Now the hard work is done it would be great if we could all keep this area alive with new entries as we find them. Please subscribe to the RSS feed and support local Thingers. Rgds, Neil

Thanks fancett & affle. There are plenty more shops to add, mainly second-hand and antiquarian. Have a scour through the current list and add any of your favourites that have been omitted. Something else we could all help with is letting venues know that they are listed (then mark the venue as contacted). I've emailed a few and encouraged them to keep their own entry up-to-date. I've had a few good responses.

Fleet? thats up north somewhere, nearly in London! is it still in Hampshire?
I was wondering if I should list the pubs where the South Hampshire science fiction group meets.

Yes, Fleet _is_ in Hampshire, juuuust about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleet,_Hampshire but a good 40 miles from London.

Maybe add your group as an "other" venue type and add events to it?

This is the point where I have to admit being born in Farnborough, so don't take my comments about Fleet to seriously. It's still a long way from Portsmouth.
