RIP, Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, Warren Vampirella Artist

Warren's Vampirella artists, the esteemed Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, passed this Sunday. Jose's work on the seductive Vampirella is considered his signature work, and most art collectors view his work on the magazine to be the signature for that character.

I agree. I've been looking at a couple of later issues recently, and his work still stands out. Great stuff -sorry to hear of his passing.

One of my favorites - sad to hear he's gone.
