Hi! I work at a volunteer-run infoshop library in Kansas City, MO called the Crossroads Infoshop. We have a small library (500? 800?) books that we'd like to get online using Library Thing as our catalog.
The crossroads Infoshop Library is a community-run radical information center. We run strictly on donations and volunteer support, and could benefit greatly from a flash mob to get our library books online! We feel that the library thing catalog will help us promote our collection to the community and help users find information they need quickly.
We're hosting a Flash Mob Cataloging Party on Friday July 10th at 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Please stop by and help us get our small library cataloged! There will be free food and drink for the volunteers.
