It was a daunting task but something that I felt like had to be done. So I spent about 20 hours or so watching every single vlogbrothers video and compiled a list of every single book mentioned.

I have cataloged the books in a spreadsheet which is now available in a google document. (If there was a sidebar to put links in I'd say "Link in the side bar" but there isn't" The link is at the bottom of this post.

The spread sheet, like most of John's videos, is broken down into five parts.

1. The date the book was mentioned, or title of the video it was mentioned in (because after 2007, the brothers were very inconsistent in giving the date of their videos)

2. The title of the book.

3. The author of the book.

4. Who mentioned the book. Most of the time it's John, Hank only mentions about 40 books thus far.

5. The context in which the book was mentioned like: "in your pants" jokes, Paper Towns related, and/or blurbing book club suggestions, etc.

OTHER THINGS ABOUT THE LIST.

1. I'm not perfect; it's possible that I've missed one or two along the way. Please contact me if there's a book that's in a video that isn't on the list.

2. I will update the list as books show up and I'll post a blog at the end of each month about the new books.

I think that's it. Any other questions or comments feel free to leave for me in comments or messages.

Alright Can I get a drum roll? ... No? Drum rolls are copy righted? Ok.

Here is the link to the 150+ books that have been mentioned by John and Hank (and in once instance The Katherine no Yeti sightings yet) throughout the last 2 1/2 years.
