Saw in my PW this week that the audio of The Sweet Potato Queen's First Big Ass Novel got a starred review. Go Jill Conner Brown!

I just finished, a couple of days ago, the audio version of A Confederacy of Dunces and really enjoyed it.
The voice and attitude that the reader uses in his portrayal of Ignatius J. Riley had me laughing out loud more than once. I highly recommend this version of the book even for those who have already read the print version. Good stuff.

It was a while ago, but I recall liking the Recorded Books unabridged version of Delta Wedding by Eudora Welty.

#2 Sam - I'm currently listening to A Confederacy of Dunces and it's wonderful! I, too, have laughed out loud when the reader is speaking as Ignatius J. Riley. I had started reading the book a couple of times and struggled getting into it. I'm very pleased with the audio version.
