At the end of the first day of our Flash-Mob, we had seven cataloging volunteers who entered a total of 632 of the books in the Canton Museum of Art Library into our LibraryThing.com collection! See it all at: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/cantonart
We had one additional volunteer re-shelving the entered books. I floated around answering questions and tried to play detective for books that did not seem to be in any of the major catalogs (Library of Congress, Metropolitan Art Museum, etc.).
We did all of this in four hours! We still have some spaces available tomorrow, Sunday, October fourth. We will be working at the museum library from 1:30-4:30p. Send me an email so I know to expect you, and we hope to see you there!
