For anyone interested in poetry, this store is a must-visit destination if you are in Cambridge, MA or in Boston.
Grolier, founded in 1927, is the oldest and certainly one of the most important stores devoted to poetry in the country. I've been visiting this shop for 30 years, and it has remained essentially unchanged. It's small, but lined with tall bookcases filled with poetry and poetry related volumes. And that's all. Only poetry. It's wonderful.
They are located in Harvard Square, a short walk around the corner from the Harvard Book Store (another great store). Grolier's address is 6 Plympton Street, just off Massachusetts Ave.

I used to work over in Central Square...making many a trip to Harvard Square area...and have even been to the Harvard Book Store several times. So how...seriously...how can I have missed this Grolier's?!?!?!
