Had some work in the Berkeley/Oakland area last week, and visited Moe's after hours. Found quite a few interesting hardcover books at good prices - enough that I had to have them shipped rather than try to squeeze them into my carry on bags.

I got there too late to check out the rare book room (other than through the window), but that is probably just as well. I spent enough as it is!

Glad I could help....I'm moving back to California this summer and look very much forward to revisiting these stores again.

As for Oregon....aside from the king of stores...Powells, can you recommend others?
