Suggestions for books about books? Suggestions for supernatural cozies?

Hi all, I think this is my first posting to this group.
As you can see from the subject line, I enjoy mysteries that have to do with books (or bookstores, authors, libraries, etc.) and mysteries with a supernatural element. There seem to be a lot of books out there in these categories, so it can be a little overwhelming trying to find the best ones.
I have read Homicide in Hardcover, The Ghost and Mrs. McClure,, and the first two Miss Zukas books.
As for supernatural, I have read all of Madelyn Alt's Bewitching Mysteries, and the first of the Ophelia and Abby series by Shirley Damsgaard.
I've enjoyed all of these to a greater or less extent (except that Ophelia and Abby book--I was really disappointed by it), but I can't say I'm "in love" with any of them.
I'd love to hear some suggestions for books in a similar vein, that I might like even more. Also, if anyone has read any of these series, would you recommend that I continue reading them?

Try John Dunning's Cliff Janeway series. It features an ex-police officer turned rare book seller.

Thanks, lilithcat! (great name, btw.) I forgot about Dunning, but I have actually read Booked to Die and I have The Bookman's Wake sitting somewhere in my vast 'to-read' pile.

Charlaine Harris has a set of mysteries where the protagonist can see ghosts. The first one is Grave Sight.

Late to this but there are LL Thrashers books 'Charlies Bones' and 'Charlies Web' about an amateur sleuth whose 'partner' is a ghost.

Yasmin Galenorn has a mystery series where the main character is a witch.

Brownies and Broomsticks was very enjoyable. Curiosity Thrilled the Cat is the first in a series (3 out now) that has magical cats.

Though I dislike her books intensely myself, I know Hilary Mantel has lots of fans here on LT. You might want to try Beyond Black and Vacant Possession.

There is the Haunted Bookshop Mystery series by Alice Kimberly. There is the ghost of a hard-boiled PI who died in the 1940's and who helps the main character, a bookstore owner, solve crimes. Books & paranormal! Oops, I see that The Ghost and Mrs McClure is in the same series.

I like Dorothy Gilman's Clairvoyant Countess and Kaleidoscope. The main character is ..wait for it.. a Clairvoyant Countess :-). They are set in the US in the 70s and really show it, I wonder sometimes if part of my enjoyment stems from remembering that time.

The Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Atherton has a supernatural element, Aunt Dimity has gone beyond, but helps out when asked through a notebook owned by the main character. Books 3-14 are not that great. I have enjoyed the others in the series, though.

There is the Bibliophile Mystery series by Kate Carlisle. I have to admit that I didn't finish the one that I have, The Lies That Bind, but we all have different tastes, you might enjoy them, other folks seem to.

Another book that I didn't finish that lots of folks like is the The case of the Missing Books in the mobile library series by Ian Sansom.

Just thought of another series - A Missing Pieces Mystery. It takes place in the Outer Banks and has a paranormal aspect. I've only read the first, but have plans to read the others. By the reviews, it would appear that the series has been getting better. I vacation in the Outer Banks twice a year. I am pretty sure that the Deborah Knott series is in my TBR list.

Charles Todd's Rutledge series is not really supernatural but Inspector Rutledge has a constant voice in his head, Hamish.

Hamish is the voice of a soldier whom Rutledge had to execute during WWI for refusing to obey an order. Hamish usually gives very good advice and is actually my favourite character in the book.

I think that the books would be classed as 'cosy' and they are worth reading.

Allison Kingsley has a series set in a bookstore with a paranormal element. I think Mind over Murder is the first one.

Though we haven't read it yet ourselves, Allison Kingsley writes the Raven's Nest Bookstore series, which features a bookshop and psychic abilities. You could also try Terrie Farley Moran's Read 'Em and Eat mysteries, which is centred around a book shop caff. We've read one of Ali Brandon's Black Cat Bookshop Mysteries, Double Booked for Death, and can recommend it (it takes place in a bookshop with a trouble-making bibliocat); and you could check out Erika Chase's Ashton Corners Book Club Mysteries, about books and cats.

Perhaps The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield?

I'm reading Home for the Haunting, part of the haunted home renovation series. The protagonist can see ghosts. It's actually quite fun.

I really enjoyed Susan M.. Boyer's Lowcountry series. The lead character's best friend is a ghost who helps her out in her private investigations.
It is set near Charleston SC and the setting enhances the books, at least for me.

Cozy mystery books about books?
I’ve just started reading Ellery Adams; she has written cozy mysteries about books!
Definitely in the category, and includes food, friendships, and romance. I’ve only read the secret, book, and scone society books so far but she has some other series too.

The Aunt Dimity mysteries mentioned heretofore are fun, although to me, the sequels never measured up to the first in the series.
