I came up with this idea on another forum, but here are potential guidelines. We've come through one year of writing journals detailing our reading. To show our appreciation to each other and to the whole group, we might present virtual gifts. You pick a picture - it can be a lovely piece of art, which you find on the web, etc. and/or a poem, significant quotations from something you've read this year, whatever. Post picture or whatever. This does not have to be Christmas related. You might even include links to background music to be played for your gift. Be creative; show your love and appreciation without spending money (except for the electricity you use) on your computer.
We could have one long group thread. Alternately we could have a thread for virtual gifts to the whole group and other gifts could be posted on individual members, threads.
