So, I have received an interesting proposition.
A photographer wants to shoot (I'm a model) for half an hour, but he has no money.
He offered instead to "pay" me in the form of an old copy of Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens.
For half an hour of modeling, I normally get paid $50.
So, is this book worth $50? I tried searching a few keywords on google, but I didn't find anything.
Here are all of the details...
- Published by James R. Osgood & Co.
- 1872
- with original illustrations
- hardcover
- in good condition considering its age
Could someone please get back to me about this soon??
Thanks!

Don't accept.
There are three copies of the 1871 edition (none of the 1872) on Abebooks, and the most expensive is $49. That, of course, is the seller's price and not what you would get if you took it to a used book dealer.

Thanks...
I'm not planning to sell it or anything, I just didn't want this guy tricking me into shooting in exchange for a $15 book.
Thanks for the info!
