Susan Abulhawa is touring the bay area from April 21st to April 24th. She will read from her critically acclaimed novel: Mornings in Jenin
She will be reading at:
1. Gread Good place for book, Oakland on April 21st 7:00 PM
2. San Jose State University Engineering Auditorium on April 22nd 7:00 PM
3. Resource Center for Non Violence (RCNV), Santa Cruz on April 23d 7:00 PM
4. Middle East Children's Alliance office, Oakland on April 24th at 2:00 PM
5. Arab American Cultural Center (AACC), San Jose on April 24th at 7:30 PM
How many people here go to these book events? Susan is a good friend of mine, so my interest in seeing her - but I have never been able to convince myself to go any of these events. Isabelle Allende is reading at a bookstore near my home in Mt. View - I really like her, but is it worth a trip to the store?
