6) In school, or doing my homework.
7) Persuading others that books/reading are fun, and they should read. For every person that likes to read, there are four more that don't.

9) Outside, quietly enjoying the beauty of nature.

And glorious summer school. I must be crazy. I am taking a Geomerty Honors course in the summer, VOLUNTARILY. I am crazy. I have ruined my sweet summer. -sighs-

Agree to summer school? Its cause of this:
I come from Burma. Advanced levels of Math there. SO when I came here, I was basically doing my workin my sleep, everything was that easy for me.
When I came, I was 12, and wanted to enroll in 8th grade, as I would have been in Burma (when I was young, my teachers told my parents it would be better for me if they had me 'skip a grade' cause everything was so easy for me.)
In the US, kids aren't put according to their lever necissarily, they are put by their age. My mother argued. She said to give me a chance. If i failed, my G. C. could move me down to 7th grade where I "should be" as she said. (My GC said that)
My G.C listened to my mother and agreed. But...she put me in teh simplest classes shecould find for 8th grades. So she put me in Pre-Algebra. And me, who could do trigonometry and logrithims, got bored. I took a summer course last year in Algebra 1 Honours, so now I am, was, in Algebra 2 H. Still too easy, I am really good at Geometry. SO I am going to take a Geometry H course in teh summer, and next year,I can take Pre-Calculas H in my sophemore year. 10th grade.

Its not hard, its just that from last year's summer experience, I know that the teacher will give bucketloads of HW everyday. like, 50-100 problems.
Its 8am-3pm, monday to thursday.

Oh well. Its only till July 29 or something.

Nah. I hate math. I'm just really good at it:its just a genetic thing:both parents' families are great with math. Especially my father's side.
Its just the same with reading. My family (both sides) loves books. We have all been reading since we were children.

No, not home schooled. I have these math for new-credit (which means I am not taking it for remidial, it means I am doing a completely new class) this summer. 2 more days to go. And my finals are on Thursday. Wish me luck and pray for me!

Actually, here is a copy-pasted from explaining some else.
When I was young, my school in Burma had higher levels of math than other schools. They would teach 2nd grade stuff in 1st grade, 3rd grade stuff in 2nd grade.......9th grade stuff in 8th grade....its just a really advanced school. So I knew all this stuff. I can do trigonometry and logarithms (although I don't like either of them) simply because I was taught all this earlier than ppl are taught here. So, instead of re-doing stuff I know, my mother suggested taking it in the summer, so I can go up to stuff I DON"T know, and actually get to learn something new.
so now you know why I'm in the summer school thing. I did it voluntarily. I must be crazy

No. It just means that I will have an extra class/math credits to present to my college.
But when I was young, I skipped a grade. So, technically, I have 1 less yr of schooling than other kids. They will all graduate after 12 total years, I will with 11. So, in a way, yes I graduate a year sooner. But it has nothing to do with my summer classes. :D
I am also the youngest in my grade. There is a special pride in that.

You know what's funny? Today I have been sprouting quotes from books. As references to what the people talking to me were saying. It was hilarious. They say something, and I quote a similar line from some book. And then I sudden;y look up, and look around, and ask, "Wow, did I really just say all that aloud??"

Oh and, guess what, guess what, guess what???? Summer classes are OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!
Another funny thing- I volunteer in the library, Friday mornings, 10:00am. I'd asked my mother last night to wake me at 9:00am. (Normally I'd wake up earlier, but last night I had to stay up kinda late)
Nine o'clock comes, and my mom comes to wake me up. For a second, I panic, wondering if I was just dreaming or something, and my summer classes haven't finished. And I almost panic, before my full consciousness kicks in and I realise that its Friday, the day after my classes ended, and that I am NOT waking up for my classes, i am going to the library. Further reassuring was the fact that it was indeed 9, and not 6, when I would have normally woken for my classes.
That was my dose of weirdness. How were your day's? (days? day's? I dunno)

I have heard many good things about this book, is it worth the read? I am an IB student so I always have a lot on my plate and when I do get the chance to read I want it to be something worth while, is it worth it?
