ANY SUGGESTIONS APPECIATED - Thank You!

I am looking to buy a complete version of Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew English Lexicon. I have been using the electronic version of Whitaker's abridged version via the old Logos Library System Scholar's edition (1997). I have also used some older copies from the local library and seen one that another student has, it is a 2007 edition with not only marginal Strong's numbers but an index of them as well; unlike the 1980 version the library has, sans index. Many versions have no Strong's number assistance at all.

However, I have also heard of two other versions that look like they have potentially helpful additions to the original 1906 edition. These include the NEW BDB, and the ENHANCED BDB. I think one of these has marginal or foot notes updating the etymology and commenting on various aspects of the original with modern scholarly updates. There are other versions too.

Looking in the Library on this forum at http://www.librarything.com/work/4221716/editions/
there are literally scores if not several hundred different publications listed. I would like all the latest comments and helps along with the full Strong's "CRIB" numbers. I am no language expert, but I am a pastor with a deep interest, and a D.Min student with a need to personally verify some of the statements commentaries make.

Does anyone know of an edition that has it all? If not, what are your recommendations as to the most helpful editions without having to buy more than one right now? THANKS.

PS: I have the TDNT and one volume of the OT that I purchased as they came out. But I had to stop when the Lord blessed us with 5 children (3 still in college and one yet to go). But I am considering getting the rest of the OT set USED after the BDB; Lord willing. Recommendations for other resources would be welcome too; but my main question now is, "which BDB to get?"

Mine seems to be 2008 - reprinted 1906 with Strong's numbers and index to them added. It's brand new, and I haven't used it yet. I'm more used to a Hebrew/German dictionary I had for the class I used to take.

I don't have a full OT interlinear, but I have a few volumes of the Schottenstein editions of single volume interlinears. Right now I am working my way through the Psalms. I try to read one every night - reading each in Alter's translation with notes, and then in the Hebrew. 119 is coming up soon, and I'll have to split it. No way of enjoying it if I read the whole thing at once.

I am finding that this helps a little, and I'll try to get back to grammar once I've finished. I really do like Alter's notes, and often compare what he says to the Schottenstein translation of the words.
