I recently finished Top of the Heap: A Yankees Collection, which I enjoyed a lot. It's an anthology of newspaper and magazine articles dealing with the Yanks in one way or another presented in chronological order from the team's very beginning as the Highlanders through Paul O'Neil's final game, Game 7 of the 2001 World Series.
