Wow- nothing received yet in August? Well, let me start. I received Radiance by Alyson Noel today. It's a new middle-school aged book that's a spin off of the popular Immortals YA series. I'm going to do a quick read through of that trilogy before I tackle this one. It sounds really interesting though. It was a request from SA in mid-July.

So far I've received finished copies of Stiltsville by Susanna Daniel, Sea Escape, Love in Mid-Air, Hollywood Savage, The Art of Devotion, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? and How to Buy a Love of Reading (the last two, both audio).

A Little Death in Dixie by Lisa Turner from the publisher, Bell Bridge Books (print), LT ER program, July June 2010 batch
Evolussion by Kathy Bell, from the author, PDF (LT Member Giveaways)
Flight of the Hawk by G. R. Grove, from the author, PDF, finished copy, just because she likes my review of Storyteller
I've been promised others, but they are still in the custody of the United States Postal service with no indication to me when they will arrive or in what condition I might find them when I finally do get my hands on them...

I received Nightshade today UPS in a Bubble Mailer and came with a introduction letter about the book and a note from Author Andrea Cremer. I have to say the cover is just absolutely beautiful.

Certain publishers I've worked with before (and occasionally some I haven't - sometimes I question how they got my address) send books randomly from time to time in hopes that I'll review them on the blog.
More books today:
Salvation City by Sigrid Nunez
The Improper Life of Bezellia Grove by Susan Gregg Gilmore (hardcover finished copy)
The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia by Mary Helen Stefaniak, my July LTER book.

This week I received:
-Bird in Hand - which was my latest LT ER book and next in line on Mount TBR.
-You Don't Look Like Anyone I Know - which seems like a silly name, but is a memoir by someone with face blindness. I'm excited to read it. :)
