I thought we could start our own Geology trivia game. To both entertain and educate. I have no rules to game like the person getting an answer right has to post the next question or anything like that. And the questions can be as general or specific as you'd like, covering any area of geology.

Yes both the above are correct.
More specifically the picture depicts the ripple marks within the Channeled Scablands of periodic flooding from the Glacial Lake Missoula in eastern Montana. At least for me It's pretty cool to think of ripple marks that are typically measured in centimeters jacked up to a meter scale.
