This book was also made into a movie. a doctor delivers his twins one of whom is disabled. He tells his wife that that baby died and gives it to the attending nurse to place in an orphanage. The nurse keeps the baby and raises her as her own child. This doctor's decision haunts his family for the rest of their lives. It was a riveting read a few years ago but just can'tremember title or author. Thanks again for any help with this.
