- The National Art Library is a major public reference library of fine and decorative arts of many countries and periods. The Library is a major public reference library, as well as being the Victoria and Albert Museum's curatorial department for the art, craft and design of the book.
The main national collection of art books, located inside the Victoria and Albert Museum, but is independent of the museum's ethos/specialization in decorative art.
The National Art Library Catalogue includes some 750,000 records, providing access to collections comprising more than a million items.
