It was the best bookstore on the Coastside, but it closed on 15 July 2015.

I have many fond memories of this store growing up. It was a wonderful place to browse and buy. I was still in junior high school when they opened, but the books combined with the tobacco scents (I think it was pipe tobacco and cigars, never cigarettes) was wonderful.
The owner knew many of us, by sight if not by name, and knew many of our preferences.
I had moved away to college and a later career before they'd moved to the current location, but I stopped in a few times when I went back home to visit. It lost a little of that wonderful atmosphere, but is definitely a much bigger place. It will be sad if they ever have to close.
I do miss the place and the memories and warm feelings that come with it.
