Not as good as the first, just a little to over the top in parts, I'd really rate this as a two and a half star book but gave it three because a couple of the scenes were laugh out loud funny and I really liked the new characters Marty and Roach but especially Marty. The hair hat wearing oldster really added to the story. ( )

I enjoyed this... I don’t necessarily recommend the audio. It wasn’t bad, but it was hard to really visualize who I believe the characters were *supposed* to be because the voices felt... a little aged, dated, and dowdy. ( )

The lovely trio & the dynamics between Mel, Angie & Tate, who are all grown-ups in some respects & adolescents in others, are smart & interesting. As usual with McKinlay's series it's the characters & small town settings that are far more interesting than the murder(s). ( )

Good book with plenty of giggles. I peeked, semi by accident at a part near the end and spoiled myself with who the killer was but why they did it wasn't for the reason(s) I thought..

The ending kind of reminded me of the Matlock, Murder She Wrote and Perry Mason'ish all wrapped up in one but it was fun still....As many cozies seem to be...fun, easy reads with over the top endings! Lol...but, I wouldn't have them any other way! ( )

Another fun read in this series! I am looking forward to continuing it. ( )
