raulvilar: Las alocadas aventuras de los inclasificables protagonistas de estos dos libros son debidas a la disfuncional relación que establecen con el entorno en el que se desarrollan las dos novelas. Por un lado un alienígena esforzado pero incapaz de comprender el comportamiento humano, que se lanza al rescate de un compañero, perdido en la ciudad de Barcelona; y por otro un excéntrico, perezoso y fabulador jóven obligado a encontrar trabajo en una ficticia ciudad norteamericana.

Eduardo Mendoza ist nun wirklich kein Science-Fiction Autor, aber diese Buch sollte in jeder Bibliothek stehen. Es ist einfach genial: 2 Ausserirdische landen in der Nähe von Barcelona und in Tagebuchform schildert ein Alien die komplizierte Suche nach seinem Techniker Gurb, von dem er aber leider immer wieder "nichts Neues" erfährt.
Auf extrem humoristischer Weise beschreibt Mendoza die Tücken des Alltags in Barcelona und wie sie auf einen Alien wirken. Wenn man erst einmal mit dem Lesen begonnen hat, legt man diese leider viel zu kurze Büchlein nicht mehr aus der Hand. ( )
