Probably fun for kindergarten or so, and for teachers who are young at heart. Much too bright for me - seriously, talk about your *loud* colors!

The words are a cumulative tale with no result. The last picture shows something that looks like a result, but the previous pictures do not show the development to that point. Pure nonsense - the author thwarts any attempt by the reader to impose a story (or any other story element) to it. You decide whether that's a good thing or not.

I want to like the illustrations. I want to think that children who have experienced finger-paint would be inspired, would say I can do something like that" and then go try to illustrate their own panel of what they would put in their own pockets. But Grejniec's pictures only *look* easy. Trying to learn by imitation would be, I believe, much more frustrating than effective." ( )

This book is about putting yucky things in your pocket. The text is very hard to read as it is scattered all over the pages amongst very bright and textured illustrations. It is beneficial in teaching the days of the week, as a new thing is added to the pocket everyday. I did not like this book at all, because of how the text was scattered and how the things put inside the pocket were gross. ( )

A well illustrated book about putty icky things in your pocket. Each day, a new icky thing is added to the person's pocket. Teaches the days of the week. Illustrations match the descriptions of the items in the pocket, they definitely match the words. ( )

What can you put in your pocket? Apparently, anything you want! This rhyming story asks the same question every day for a week. The pocket fills up with food, fingers and fun. ( )

This is one of the most pointless books I have ever read. The text was repetitive but strange. The illustrations were bright and all over the place. The book is a giant chaotic mess. ( )
