If you are looking for a great informational text about zoo animals, this is it! The book is huge with great animal photography. There is also a wonderful fold out poster of a lion inside the book. The book also includes fun facts about each animal.This is a great book to use with preschool age children. ( )

The visual appeal in this book I would say was very attention grabbing. The pages consisted of real-life pictures of animals you would find in the zoo and provided a few sentences about that animal. The thing I liked best about this book, though was that some of the pages folded out to portray the real-life size of the animal, whether it just it’s face or it’s whole body.

This latest version of Komiya's "Life Size" books features more unusual zoo animals that are not included in the previous "Life Size Zoo" book. Young animal lovers will be blown away by the size and grandeur of the lion photo-- a fold-out poster. I am totally addicted to these books-- as are many readers from toddler age and older. ( )
