These little books are made for all different cities, but since I am from Oregon, I have always read this to my son. These books highlight various landmarks in the city and takes you on a city tour. I love reading these books to my son at night and collecting them from different cities. You could also use them in your classroom to teach students about different cities in the United States. ( ) This book, ih the Goodnight series is a fair book to read as a bedtime story. Like many of the other specific Goodnight series, it has references to specific places the kids might be unfamiliar with which could be distracting in a bedtime story, but the book is specific for Oregon, so the specific Oregon references are ok. What I would have liked to see though, is more pages devoted to the phrase "goodnight" and fewer to "Good Morning", Greetings", "Hello", and "Good afternoon". Seventeen pages start with those phrases, leaving just the last three to say goodnight. If this book had been in a "Hello" series I would rate it higher. But it is still a nice book on Oregon for kids, just might not get them in the bedtime mood with just three pages devoted to that. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
