I thought that this book was short but sweet. The story line of this book follows a little boy on his adventure through different Fall time activities, such as visiting apple orchards and raking leaves. The text flows in and out of the illustrations, and the language is descriptive as it flows in short rhyming sentences. The illustrations really make the book comprehensible to young readers, and the characters in the family are identifiable. This is obvious in scenes where the parents are raking leaves and the children are playing in the piles. The end of the book discusses how elements change at the end of Fall to transition into Winter. The main idea of this book is to enjoy the many activities that Fall offers us and how that can be a great time to interact with family, both inside and outdoors. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Illustrations and rhyming text celebrate autumn, with its falling leaves, crisp mornings, and gusty breezes. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
