Dick Grayson, still filling the role of the presumed dead Batman, with Bruce Wayne's son Damian (as Robin) and a host of supporting characters, continues his pursuit of the Black Mask. The story is choppy and confusing, and even the page layouts are sometimes not easy to follow. The plot is OK, although the Black Mask's identity was not a real shock. The story and art would have benefited from some simplification. If a comic book takes this much work to follow, there should be a big payoff. There wasn't. In this book we have more of the new Batman and Robin in it as well as a bit of Oracle and the Huntress which was cool and even some Catwoman.
It is one of the set of Batman stories that can get quite confusing, but like others of its kind, by the end, most things do end up making sense, it's was just most of the journey that made no sense to me.
Still, interesting art and not a bad story, just a bit rambling. Solid three stars. ( )
