They meet at a flea market and, of course, they fall in love. Laura has not been raised in a Christian home nor does she know anything about the Amish faith. Will she be willing to accept God into her heart and join the Amish church in order to marry Eli or will he decide to leave the community he grew up in and follow Laura into the English world? Wanda brings the two different worlds together in a way no one else can. Though it is a good and easy read, I did not enjoy this book as much as I did her other books. It seemed to drag a bit in places. My least favorite of Brunstetter's books so far. The plot was completely predictable, with characters thrown in with no real purpose. I didn't like the protagonist and her family, and thought the male protagonist was pretty dim-witted. The main conflict, which could have been interesting, was introduced and concluded in a total of about 10 pages. Disappointing. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
