Basically just the second half of the first book—it's too bad this never continued as it set up something that might have been an interesting mirror universe series, and it was really delightful to have a couple books that focus on female characters throughout the Star Trek universe. I'd love to have seen how Crusher interfaced with Janeway and Seven...ah well, perhaps that's what fanfic is for. I do wish that what was inside this book was what the cover implied. (Would have been an easy 5 stars with that). It starts where Book 1 left off. Seven is still with Kira and they tour the former Terran Empire at times with Deanna or B-Elanna, or Worf for most of the book. It's still as political as all get out, and that's what saved the book. It was just as twisty and turney as the first one. Not surprisingly my favorite part was the stuff with the 'Delta' crew (I know it's a minority opinion, but, I like Voyager the best of the serieses). And I really wish that we had gotten to see more of their story and their characters (and especially Bev's story too, oh, and Selar's as well). It seemed so much like these two books were a set up for some sort of Mirror Universe series too. Heck, put the 'Delta' crew back in the Delta Quadrant and explain to us all about how the Mirror Universe Delta Quadrant people are different from the regular Delta denizens. Overall though, it was a fun and awesome read, I just would have loved to have even more. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Intendent Kira, Overseer for the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, has entered into a dangerous liason with Annika Hansen, a secret agent of the Obsidian Order. But that is not the only threat she faces. The sadistic Deanna Troi and intendent B'Elanna Torres would both gladly see her deposed. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
