And it has brought together in my life three women who have influenced and inspired my collection and my taste.
The pathway towards this collection has been made up of great passion, serendipity, intuition, and a desire to bring these beautiful objects together to interact and speak to each other (or at least to me). It has been an act of love. Hats and headdresses are part of a larger collection, but they have preoccupied me for the past five years. I have been intrigued with the amazing creativity of the tribes, and how these objects were an integral part of their lives. These objects were made to be used and to celebrate life and its events.
