Mira is a beautifully written character. She and her husband Jake are big in the food world in New York City. Co owners of Grappa, a very successful restaurant, their life is a dream. Until Mira walks in on her husband and their femme maitre d in flagrante and a brawl ensues. Mira stands to lose everything, her restaurant, her husband, her city, her freedom....
All the characters were very well fleshed out. I loved Mira's circle of friends. The writing itself was fantastic. I didn't want to put the book down. Just wonderfully done. (
