( ) I read this as a trilogy via ebook. I got it as the story sounded interesting and I do like adventure type stories. This, however, was disappointing. I believe it is in the YA category, written for juveniles or perhaps by a juvenile. The characters were weakly drawn and the pacing was off. It did remind me briefly of the book 'Fade' by Robert Cormier. That was altogether a better tale and better written. I will try to avoid the YA stories in the future. Not recommended for seasoned adult readers. I actually read this book quite a while ago....but I put off writing a review because my beloved mother wouldn't get me the second book. In the end, I was kind of glad she didn't because I think that this may have turned into one of those series that I stopped reading about the fifth book because it just didn't pull my interest anymore...that happens a lot.... But, I'll never know because I haven't got the second, third, or fourth books...... haha. Okay, in all honesty, this book was a really quick read, but I can't say "If you're looking for a quick read then you should totally pick this book up!" because it IS a series of seven.....and because I read like lightning fast... I really don't... I was really hooked from page to page as I went along on this teens very adventurous journey. Great young adult book! I haven’t read much erotic romance lately, but I recently felt like reading some, so I picked up Book of Love, a book I have had on my TBR list since I received it for review this summer. It’s not that I hated the book, but it was so difficult to take seriously. Shiloh, Elijah and Liam are a hot couple, don’t get me wrong, but the only thing they so that doesn’t make me roll my eyes is have sex. As much as I love sexy times, they aren’t enough to make a good romance. I am not a fan of sex without plot, and Book of Love started to get irritating after a while. I don’t regret putting it down, but I wish I had enjoyed it more. I haven’t read any good ménage in a while, and the book really gave me a craving for it! Gehört zur Reihe
