I love the way that she changes her name from Hetty Feather to Sapphire Battersea to change her identity. Sapphire Battersea gets help along the way to find her sick mother but she finds out her real father too living with a different family. She also is a servant for a posh, old man and goes to church with the other two servants every Sunday. She sets off for more adventures. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Sapphire is the new life of Hetty, the same person, just with a different name. She travels to her business with Mr Buchanan, the hateful 'monkey-man', and sets off for walks each Sunday after church with the butcher's boy Bertie. He takes her to beautiful and marvellous places - the river, the fair and all sorts. But can Sapphire (Hetty) possibly survive alone? ( )
