Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. a purple cloth-bound book in a similar box, interesting history of movable illustrations. ( ) To commemorate its 10th Anniversary, the Movable Book Society created this amazing book on the history of pop-ups and movable books, beginning with Matthew Paris, a Benedictine monk who created the first known paper movable, the volvelle, and on to the twentieth-century. The text and illustrations were done by contemporary pop-up gods like Robert Sabuda, and depict a variety of movables, including turn-up books, dissolving views and, of course, pop-ups. The book is bound in purple cloth, and is housed in a similarly-covered drop-spine box with a ribbon lift. Very classy. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
