Hardened to th core by the prison system, federal penetentiaries became Jim's home for the next 20 years. While in the Special Handling Unit of Millhaven Maximum Institution, Jim's heart was captured by Christ's love through a personal encounter in prayer. What a dramatic change!Jim became paralyzed due to a ruptured blood vessel in his spinal cord. The Doctor's said, "You'll never walk again". Jim's prayer was "Lord restore me", because he wanted a wife and a family before he left this earth.God heard the cry of Jim's heart, and in August 1983, Jim was released from prison, and now walks with two canes. In 1986 God blessed Jim with a lovely wife, Shirley. In 1989, Jim walked back into prisons as the Prison Fellowship Chapter Director in Kingston, Ontario.… (mehr)
