Each two-page spread has multiple photos and information about some facet of Viking life. It is a book that does not need to be read cover to cover so it lends itself well to being used as a preliminary resource on different sub-topics of the culture. What I like about the book is that it covers the breadth of Viking life and not just their weapons and ships.

The same 2-page layout with great photos and interesting facts as all the titles in this series. I sometimes use this series for writing prompts or copywork. The title explores the world of the Vikings.
