I read the first one. Wasn't bad but was just as Meh worthy as I was expecting. Now that I have all of Anderson/Herbert's stuff off my kindle, my Don't Read Anymore by Them Policy can take full effect. First DNF of the year... " ( ) This volume of short stories is basically b-sides that were cut from other books that Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson have published. The book is filled out by several excerpts (short-story like segments) from prior books. The repeats were too familiar, the new stories were nothing all that revealing. But it did serve to put me back into the Dune universe just in time for the next book, due out in January. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Gehört zur ReiheDune: Complete Chronology (short stories) Beinhaltet
Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson have written thirteen international bestselling novels set in this epic universe. But the wealth of material leaves many side tales or interesting ideas that can be told, hors d'oeuvres to accompany the exotic main course. Sometimes, a short story is exactly what's needed. Tales of Dune collects eight of Herbert and Anderson's Dune short stories, ranging from the period of the Butlerian Jihad, to the time of young Paul Atreides, to a story set during the events of the novel Dune, to the very end of Frank Herbert's future history. These are the missing pieces in the epic of Dune. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
